President’s Report Calendar Year 2008-2009

You are here

Dear Members,

2008-2009 has been another good year for the club.

We again have kept our commitment to you to have a networking event nearly every month. Our finances continue to be in good shape. Nevertheless, we had to raise our annual dues to a reasonable amount. We have gained new members. Some members left mostly because of business reasons. Some new areas of interest could be opened, existing, e.g. our annual students’ business competition plan, were deepened. So, you will find this plan with a new name: “Best-Business-Plan”. Please take a look on our websites “” and “” which were restructured. I have to thank Petra Bluhme and William Fields for their efforts to support the club’s activities. I deeply regret that William Fields had to finalize his administrative support due to very private reasons. I hope to see him again in the future.

A draft of the AGBC Berlin constitution has been accepted by the German tax authorities. This draft will be presented to an extraordinary membership meeting. The Board will ask you to accept these new bylaws.
